The Wild Devs Community was founded by Eray 'Ray' Sönmez and the idea was born when he met more and more developers in his environment. Be it through private social contacts or his professional environment as a lecturer for computer science at companies and educational institutions. The contact was mainly via e-mail and that was relatively tedious. Therefore, the Discord platform was used to have a place that was accessible to all free of charge and a collaborative exchange of information was possible. Thus, we all get to know each other a little better, discuss technical and philosophical topics, help each other and realize projects together.

The community members can share their software projects on GitHub and get inspired by personal as well as collaborative developments. Everyone has the opportunity to contribute their knowledge. Everyone is welcome to join us and share their perspectives, ideas and experiences, no matter what origin, but the language of the community should be respected, which is currently limited to German and English.

What makes us different from other developers? What does the "wild" mean? These questions are answered by our approach to realizing specific solutions. If we want to solve a problem and the standard ways do not really lead to the goal, we also use crazy approaches to find a specific solution. This usually results in further application possibilities for other areas of software development. The ideas and suggestions don't always have to be pretty, that's why we communicate together to develop a clean (keyword clean code) and effective way. Our knowledge covers a wide spectrum, so that no problem remains unsolved. The larger the community, the greater the knowledge and experience.
